Our organic fabric is manufactured using an organic production system right from fibre to fabric stage. In an organic farming method, fibres are grown in controlled settings with no pesticides, synthetic fertilisers or toxic chemicals.
Compared to other materials our organic cotton drill is one of the most environmentally friendly options, as it does not have a harsh manufacturing process. The production of our organic cotton fabric uses less energy, releases fewer greenhouse gases and due to the improved soil quality, uses significantly less water.
Each Papasan Cushion is hand filled with super soft quality carded polyester filling by a highly experienced team of skilled soft furnishings craftsmen (and ladies). All our soft furnishings are machine finished including the button detailing to a high standard and conform to British Standards fire regulations.
Our Papasan Chair frames are hand made in Indonesia using thick natural rattan poles and finished in either natural or with a colour stain and sealed with a lacquer for added durability.
